Shaped Castings

Rustavi Metallurgical Plant’s shape-casting workshop produces castings made of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The workshop also supplies various parts to some of the Plant’s other workshop and manufactures tools for the tube-rolling shop.

The shape-casting workshop produces the following products:

• Reduction gear casings, armour plate, balls for ball-mills, manhole covers and grates for drainage pipes, railings, etc. These products can weigh between 0.5 and 5,000kg.
• The workshop can also manufacture products made of non-ferrous metals (aluminium, bronze, copper and other alloys) weighing between 0.5 and 300kg.
